Q: How is a Jillian James Life Coaching different than standard life coaching?
A: Great question! There are a lot of great life coaches, however the method I use is particularly unique. This is not therapy and certainly it’s not about healing. It begins with the premise that you’re not destined to be alone and not broken. You may have spent years drudging through self-help books yet still feel like something must be wrong with you if you can’t figure out how to be happy in love and at life. But that’s not it. There’s nothing wrong with you. You’re not too clingy, too independent, too anything. Through this process you’ll recognize your true Self. We’ll dive into the psychology of how our mind works and unlock the key to manifesting the life you’ve always dreamed of.
Q: What does psychology and philosophy have to do with finding love?
A: Carl Jung is best known for being the father of analytical psychology that worked with Freud. In his research to fully understand the mind he delved deeply into eastern philosophy. It was with these two foundations that he developed processes for reaching one’s fullest potential; aligning with their divine Self through a process called Individuation. Jillian uses methods modeled after Dr. Jung’s work. She guides you to understanding how our subtle minds are creating our lives unconsciously, thereby empowering you to connect with your inner power.
Q: I’m happy being single, how can this process help me in my career?
A: Awesome! I also am super grateful for the years prior to meeting my man. The truth is being single is a great opportunity for building a relationship within yourself that can lead to beautiful growth. I wish it on everyone! Each person has their own path, but I knew deep down for me eventually I wanted to grow in a partnership as well. If you’re happy to be single, keep on enjoying that and use the psychology based methods to understand how your mind can create more prosperity and success in your life as well.
Q: What is your success rate? I worked with an expensive matchmaker and still don’t have a boyfriend.
A: While no one can promise you boyfriend, I’m confident that anyone committing to this process will be able to experience more love and learn how to better connect with everyone they encounter. Knowing how to express love in a compassionate, patient manner is invaluable in any relationship, including the relationship you have with yourself.
Q: What does knowing yourself really mean? What do people mean by saying “go within” ?
A: This is a fantastic question! This is something I can happily guide you towards experiencing. Words are helpful but can only go so far to describe what you can experience. Start by asking yourself what it feels like when you see a glowing full moon, or a colorful sunset at the ocean.
